The Dragonfalls v0.8

Welcome to the presentation of our newest Map:
The Dragonfalls




The Map:
In this map, two teams (up to 5 players per team) fight on 2 Lanes with the goal to destroy the enemies' main building. Also the players can kill neutral creeps in a huge forest to get extra gold and experience.


The Heroes
There are 18 heroes, 9 of the Alliance and 9 of the Burning Legion. Every team has 3 strength-, intelligence- and agility-heroes. Every hero has 3 normal abilities that can be leveled up to lvl 5 and a powerful ultimate with 3 as maximum level. Many of these spells are triggered to give every hero unique possibilities and tactics.


The Items
Items can be bought in the shops in the own mainbase or dropped by some of the neutral dragon-creeps (see below, "The Dragons").
There are 36 basic items that can be combined to 48 powerful recipe-items. 12 of the combined items are "Soulbound Items". That means, they have an active ability and do not require a normal inventory slot, but they cannot be sold or dropped once picked up by a hero.


The Villages
Beside every lane there are 2 villages, 1 for each team. Additional creeps spawn there and attack the enemy villages. If one of the villages is completely destroyed, creeps wont spawn there anymore. The creeps that attacked this village will help to attack the enemies mainbase now.


The Dragons
This map is not called "The Dragonfalls" for nothing. There are 4 creepspots at the corners of the map, where strong dragons spawn. Everyone of these dragons has a powerful ability that improves his attacks (for example a chance to trigger a frostnova on attack). If a dragon is killed, he drops an item, that provides his ability to its bearer.
The next time, one of these dragons is killed, he drops a new item and the old one is destroyed.
Also there is a golden dragon in the middle of the map. He is even more powerful than the other ones and drops the "Numinous Blade" when killed the first time. If the bearer of this item is killed, it will be dropped and become even stronger for the next bearer.


Arenafights
If there is not much herokilling in the game, an arenafight takes place. For the duration of these fights, the game is paused. An equal number of heroes of each team is ported to the center of the map and fights till all heroes of one of the teams are dead. The winnerteam receives some gold as reward.


Portals
The are two pairs of portals that give the ability to travel quickly over the map. Also players can teleport from their mainbase to the lanes by paying some gold.


Stonecircles
There are 2 stonecircles at the map. If a hero passes one of them, he gets buffed for a short time (for example heal or additional armor). Then the stonecircles are inactive for some time.

I'll test it soon, oh and I would add a mini-map preview image to attract attention to it.

EDIT: okay here's what I found in the short time i played it
The carrion lords main ability, "Carrion Swarm", is either bugged or not well enough explained as no matter what I was unable to use it and all his other spells revolved around that which made him rather useless, it also doesn't cost any mana and seems to have no cd. Also why the flesh golem was quite useless at the start as his spells cost most of his mana eg. flesh stomp mana cost 140 and hero max mana 150 =/. Other than those i couldn't find anything wrong with it and it was quite good. if the carrion lord is either fixed or explained i will vote for approve

EDIT 2: I found a minor error the tooltip for the flesh golem's ulti should say adds 10 to str not 8

Actually a pretty decent map.
You've got a few minor errors in the tooltips, but nothing I can reject this for.
About the terraining, you should add a fog, it'd look pretty good here.
Another thing, take the smooth tool to your rivers. They look jagged on their banks.

Thank you all for downloading and testing the map. I'm currently working on a new version. It will contain some terrain changes as well as balance fixes and a complete rework of the "Carrion Lord".
